Licensing
  1. Every file needs to state its license.
  2. Source code is generally licensed under the Mozilla Public License Version 2.0 by default. A copy of this license can be found here.
  3. Documentation and similar files are generally licensed under under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License by default. A copy of this license can be found here.
  4. Other licenses may be used as well.
  5. The licensing of the files should not be in conflict with each other. Therefore, GPL licenses are not used. Also the license of one file should not affect the license of another file. In other words, a program/file of any license should be able to link to any file in this repository.

General Licensing Notes

  1. The installer of GPL software seems to not have to be licensed under GPL.
